CREATING MULTIPLE CUSTOM FOOTERS
When you're ready to begin creating new custom footers, first log in to your account by going to www.kateycharles.com. Click on the "Client Login" button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and enter your user name and password.

Where Can Your Footers be Found?
In the Footer Library. Here you will find the default eMS footer as well as any custom footers that you have created. The Footer Library can be reached from anywhere in the eMS system via the Messaging tab in the top navigation bar. (See fig. 1) All available footers can also be accessed during the message creation process from the Message Footer dropdown menu. (See fig. 2)

Creating a New Footer
1
. Go to Messaging in the top navigation bar and click on Message Footer.
2. In the Footer Library pod, click Create a New Footer. A footer creation page will appear. (See fig. 3)

3. Name your footer. To make this your default footer, check the Default box. NOTE: By making this your default footer, it will automatically be used in all e-mails sent unless another footer is selected during the message creation process. (See fig. 4)

4. If you have sub accounts set up, scroll down to the Permissions pod and select the appropriate permissions. If you do not use sub accounts, skip to Step 5.
5. Scroll down to the HTML editor. Use the standard footer that appears in the editor as your framework. Modify as necessary and preview your new footer. (See fig. 5)

6. Click the Convert HTML to Plain Text and AOL Format link or button to convert the HTML footer to AOL and Plain Text versions. Modify the Plain Text and AOL versions as necessary.
7. When you are satisfied with all three versions, click Submit to save your new custom footer.
