In her 15 years in email marketing, Jessica has seen a ton of costly mistakes. Missing or irrelevant preheader text, internal notes left in final email copy, email that looks a wreck on Outlook or Android devices, or opt-in forms and confirmation emails that miss the mark – they’re all easy slip-ups routinely made by marketers. The consequences of some of these mistakes can be costly; they lead to lower opens, clicks and conversions. Still other mistakes can result in legal trouble. But there’s good news! There are a few key processes savvy marketers put into place to avoid these embarrassing mistakes.
