Email Communications, Overview
Katey Charles Communications adheres strictly to a permission-based email marketing policy. Our company will not send you unsolicited commercial offers or advertisements. We are committed to abiding by the consent requirements of all U.S. and non-U.S. spam and communication laws.
Withdrawing Consent
All emails that you have requested will contain a link to unsubscribe. These automated unsubscribe requests are fulfilled within minutes. Other unsubscribe requests (received via email or on the phone, for example) will be fulfilled within 10 business days.
Data Privacy
We will not sell, rent or loan our company contact lists or our clients’ contact lists (including customer data) to any outside firms nor will we ever use client contact lists for our own marketing purposes.
Security Breach
We will notify our clients of any security breach that has occurred within 72 hours of first discovering it.
Data Access
You have a right to confirm whether we have collected any data pertaining to you and to receive a copy of your personal data in an electronic format. Please contact with these requests.
Right To Be Forgotten
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), EU citizens have the right to request that KCC erase all personal data from our records. This regulation only applies to EU citizens, but we are happy to comply with a request from anyone who is in our marketing database. Please contact with these requests.
Information Collection & Use
Visitors of this site are invited to voluntarily sign up for email updates about our company, its products and services, special promotions and/or company newsletters. Those who sign up are required to provide only an email address, first name, last name and zip code. This information is used to send electronic communications to the participant. If a visitor opts to provide additional contact information, such as street address, city, state, and phone numbers, this information may be used to communicate via phone and/or print as well. Information collected on this form will never be shared or sold outside Katey Charles Communications without prior authorization from you. You may opt out of this list or update your preferences at any time by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” or “Update Preferences” links at the bottom of each email campaign you receive from our company.
Surveys or Contests
From time to time we may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you in order to notify contest winners and award prizes. If this information is to be used to include participants in company e-news, you will be notified of this intended purpose upon contest sign up.
We may use a third-party service provider to conduct these surveys or contests; that company will be prohibited from using our users’ personally identifiable information for any other purpose. We will not share the personally identifiable information you provide through a contest or survey with other third parties unless we give you prior notice and choice.
Web Statistics
While IP addresses (address of a computer) are logged to track a user’s session, the user’s identity is anonymous. Tracking IP addresses gives Katey Charles Communications information about which parts of our site are used most often and what information is viewed. IP addresses are not linked to anything that can personally identify a visitor. Thus, session details are tracked, but the user is anonymous.
Email Statistics
We track statistics on our email campaigns to gauge the effectiveness of our email communications. For example, we track how many people open each email campaign we send and how many people click on each link within that campaign.
Client Information
If you are a client of Katey Charles Communications, your personal information is used to create your personal online access to products on the site and to contact you in the course of using the products. Financial information that is collected is used to verify identity, and to bill either you or your company for products and services, as applicable. Demographic and profile data collected by Katey Charles Communications may be used to tailor the website or any requested email communications, and to display information that is more relevant to you.
Information Use by Third Parties
It is the policy of Katey Charles Communications to never provide your personal information to third parties without your express permission or only in instances where such disclosure is necessary to process payment transactions or provide services that you have requested. We do not release personal information about you as an individual. There is one exception to this policy: if Katey Charles Communications is compelled to do so by an appropriately empowered governmental authority. Katey Charles Communications will not share with third parties any more information than is necessary to perform the transaction you have requested.
Contact Lists, Campaign Content and Campaign Reports
Katey Charles Communications engages third-party email marketing database management/list hosting services on behalf of its clients. Clients are advised of the name of the selected services prior to signing an agreement with our company. These partners are obliged to ensure that all contact lists, email content and reports remain private and confidential. Any use of these email marketing systems must be in compliance with our Acceptable Use Policy to protect against inappropriate use (illegal, abusive, obscene, threatening, etc.).
Katey Charles Communications will not sell, rent, loan or allow external access to a client’s contact lists, and we will not engage with email marketing service companies who do so. Katey Charles Communications will not themselves use clients’ contact lists for any purpose other than to perform client-requested work, and we will not engage with email marketing service companies who do so.
